Top SEO Companies in Nepal: 8 Agencies and Studios Worth Shortlisting in 2026

Top SEO Companies in Nepal: 8 Agencies and Studios Worth Shortlisting in 2026
Nepal’s digital services market has an evaluation problem. There is no licensing body, no certification that means anything, and no standard deliverable. Every agency site describes itself as leading, top-rated and results-driven, and most “best of” lists are either paid placements or written by one of the companies on them.

So this list does not rank anyone. It compares what each company publishes, applies the same criteria to every entry, and tells you what I could not verify.

The criteria, applied evenly

Delivery model. Agency, studio, or independent. These are genuinely different products at overlapping prices, and buyers routinely compare quotes without realising it.

Service mix. Whether SEO is the core discipline or one line item inside a broader marketing offer.

Named, checkable clients. A live site you can click through to is worth more than a screenshot of a traffic graph, which is unfalsifiable by design.

Pricing transparency. Most Nepali providers will not publish rates, which forces a sales call before you can judge whether the conversation is worth having. Publishing is not the same as being good, but it lets you self-select out.

What I could not check. Nobody writing one of these lists has audited anyone’s client results. Where a claim is the company’s own, it is labelled as such.

1. RaiseRank: engineering-led, build and growth together

Pokhara. Software engineering and digital growth studio.

Positions itself as engineers first (custom websites, web apps, app development and custom software) with SEO and AI-search optimisation layered on top. Serves clients in the UK and Australia alongside Nepali businesses.

The client roster is publicly named and independently checkable: Mustang Airworks (aviation parts supply), Bodhi Dham (yoga and meditation retreat), 6K Nepal Treks, Trek with Rohit, Debyani Tours, Atma Gyan Yoga, Trail Running Nepal, and a bilingual Japanese-English restaurant site in Kuwana. You can open each one and judge the work directly, which is a meaningfully higher standard of evidence than most of this market offers.

Publishes a free audit offer and states that it caps how many clients it onboards monthly. Does not publish pricing. Company-reported figures include 412% and 3,306% traffic growth on individual projects, which I have not independently verified.

The structural argument for this model is sound and worth stating: URL structure, rendering strategy, content modelling and page speed are all decided in week one of a build and are expensive to reverse afterward. A team owning both the build and the growth removes a failure mode that otherwise falls between the developer and the marketer, which is precisely where it usually lands.

For a business that needs a site built and needs it to earn traffic, an SEO Company in Nepal offering both under one roof avoids a handover that goes wrong more often than it goes right.

Best for: businesses needing a new build plus the traffic to justify it, and international clients wanting senior attention on a mid-sized project. Not for: anyone who only wants advisory work on an existing site.

2. Gurkha Technology: established brands, multi-channel

New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Full-service digital agency.

Digital marketing, web design and hosting. The strongest asset here is the publicly named institutional client list (Nepal Airlines Corporation, Nimbus Nepal, The Burger House & CFC, Presidential Business School and Famous Steel & Home Appliances) with attributed testimonials from named individuals at several of them, including a Deputy Director at Nepal Airlines.

Attributable testimonials from identifiable people at recognisable Nepali institutions are considerably stronger evidence than anonymous quotes, and they are rare in this market. Published project work skews toward social media campaigns, Facebook advertising and brand design rather than technical SEO.

Does not publish pricing.

Best for: established brands wanting SEO inside a broader marketing relationship with an agency that can absorb staff turnover. Not for: businesses whose core problem is technical.

3. Digital Terai: 360-degree coverage

Koteshwor, Kathmandu. Full-service agency.

Covers SEO, local SEO, PPC, social media, graphic design and web development. States its team holds Google and HubSpot certifications and that it follows white-hat methodology. Appears on third-party directories including DesignRush and Sortlist.

Offers a free website SEO score tool as a lead capture. Does not publish pricing.

Best for: businesses wanting a single supplier across several channels. Note: published blog content has not been updated in some time, a factual observation about the site, not a judgement on client delivery.

4. Ads Bee Media: Pokhara, breadth over depth

Pokhara. Full-service agency, operating since 2017.

Eight stated service lines: web development, graphic design, SEO, PPC, content writing, branding, social media marketing and UI/UX design. Builds primarily on WordPress.

The breadth is the offer. For a small business that needs several things and does not want to manage several relationships, one supplier has real coordination value.

Does not publish pricing.

Best for: Pokhara-area small businesses wanting one supplier for everything. Not for: a specific technical constraint requiring deep expertise.

5. The independent alternative

Worth including because it is a different product at an overlapping price, and businesses compare the two without realising they are comparing different things.

An independent consultant gives you senior attention on every hour: the person you brief is the person doing the work, and there is no template to protect. For diagnostic work, which is exactly what does not template well, this is usually the highest value per rupee.

The clearest example of published transparency in this market is a Bhaktapur-based independent operating as seo expert nepal, which publishes rates openly at NPR 20,000, 45,000 and 80,000 per month depending on scope, runs month to month with no lock-in, creates every account under client ownership, and explicitly names the situations in which hiring them would be the wrong choice.

For comparison, established Nepali agencies typically quote from around NPR 150,000 monthly with three to six month minimums. That is defensible for a large site with genuine complexity and poor value for a ten-page business site that needs its indexing fixed.

Best for: focused scope, diagnostic work, senior thinking on a smaller budget. Not for: volume content production, multi-channel campaigns, or guaranteed continuity.

6. Also listed on independent directories

Several Nepali providers appear consistently across Clutch, Sortlist, DesignRush and TechBehemoths: JO Marketing, WebX Nepal, Yeti Studio, Abstract Infosys, KTM Rush, Genesis Web Technology, Web Creation Nepal, Infinity Digital Agency and Growfore Solution among them.

They are named here so you can evaluate them yourself. I have not written individual entries because I could not verify enough to say anything useful, and padding a list with names lifted from a directory is the practice this article exists to avoid.

7. A clarification on the largest firms

Searches for Nepali technology companies surface Leapfrog Technology, Verisk Nepal and Braindigit IT Solutions. These are product engineering and software development firms. Leapfrog has operated since 2010 with roughly 450 staff and clients including Microsoft, LG and UCSF, and holds AWS Generative AI Competency.

They are excellent at what they do and they are not SEO companies. Including them in a search marketing shortlist would be a category error, and lists that do so are padding.

8. What none of them can sell you

A guarantee. Anyone offering a specific ranking position by a fixed date is either misleading you or planning to target queries so obscure that ranking for them means nothing.

The honest range: technical fixes can move things within weeks; content and authority work needs three to six months to read clearly.

The four questions that decide it

Whatever this or any list says, these settle it, and none requires technical knowledge:

What did you find when you looked at my site? A competent provider names something specific: four pages competing for one query, templated titles across the catalogue, a blog on a subdomain sharing no authority, content rendering client-side so Google sees an empty page. A weak one describes their process. This distinction is audible to anyone.

When would you tell me not to do this? Real answers exist: margins too thin, insufficient search volume, a conversion problem search cannot reach. Nobody who has never declined work will have an answer.

Do I own every account? Search Console, Analytics, Business Profile, domain, hosting: created under your ownership, access granted to them. Providers holding these make leaving expensive, which is usually the point.

Can I see a real report? Redacted is fine. Check whether it connects activity to outcome, and whether it shows clicks rather than only positions. Positions can rise while traffic falls: click-through rate at positions one through five fell roughly 17.92% year over year, per GrowthSRC’s study of more than 200,000 keywords, as AI Overviews and search features absorbed clicks above the organic results.
